Solid Gold Dancers Summer Hits

Crafting an album-slash-video-extravaganza, so as to satisfy the Kidz over the Holidays, is no mean feat.

Wikepedia 'Solid Gold Dancers' and you'll read ...  

"Solid Gold is an American syndicated music television series that debuted on September 13, 1980 ... Solid Gold featured musical performances and various other elements such as music videos. What set Solid Gold apart was a group of dancers in revealing costumes who at various points in the program performed various (and sometimes borderline risqué) dances to the top ten hits of the week" ...

Sounds fun. 

Yeah.

Maybe it sounds fun to the rhythmically and choreographically challenged, but sometimes being part of a tight troupe of dancers isn't all it's cracked up to be ...


Album cover choices are strained when one of the Solid Gold Dancers isn't so 'Solid' any more ... Dig?

    I remember the solid gold dancers. In fact I have a dear friend who was in hot gossip. So jealous.

    SG1 is of the solo age I believe. It is a rare thing to get mine to do anything as a group these days. We have lots of breakaway groups- the Sick Skaters, Sweet Swimmers, Eat like a Weavil.
    Good to see the red Cons heading on down the line. Red shoes are good that way.
