Up your intellect.

I'm trying to make the blog a bit more intellectual (always a challenge), and detached, with the view of opening its doors again in the future.

So, you can expect to see less of these sort of inane photos ...

And less discussion about children.

And how some children will eat their dinner, whereas other children, mid-meal, go outside and plant various bits of their dinner in the hope they'll cultivate a McDonald's hamburger or something more appealing to their infantile palates.

  1. Never mind intellectual - WHAT is Horsey doing in your Figgjo Lotte teapot? I think we should be told. I'm preparing a dossier (French inquisitorial legal style) as I blog.

  2. haha, yes what IS horsey doing? That was the first thing I noticed.

I don't think we need to start planting maccas! They're all over the place anyway!

Now I feel like maccas :(

  3. Now who gave them the idea to plant their supper in the first place??? And yes, what is Horsey doing draped on your teapot?

  5. That's too bad, I'd love to see what those beans would turn into. Looks like Martha is the only one eating hers; clever girl.

Will you be writing about the post-war depression and the Council of Economic Advisers now?

  6. Maybe 'intellectual' was the wrong word ... I have no idea what you last two are talking about.

  7. Please don't put Horsey in the closet. I need him. The FLW book I was referring to in the last post is; The Fellowship: The Untold Story of Frank Lloyd Wright and the Taliesin Fellowship.
Not a bit intellectual, a little tawdry...my kind of book.

  8. MCM,
    okay, I'll keep the Horse.

I won't read the FLW book if it's tawdry ... if, on the other hand, it was bawdy, I'd snap it up!

"The Untold Bawdy Story of Frank Lloyd Wright" ...

  10. Brismod,
maybe not more intellectual, I think I've probably hit the ceiling in that department ... a more detached, impersonal blog is what I mean.

  11. Forget it.
The best part of your blog for me, IS the personal stuff, especially your touching relationship with Horsey.
I bet you haven't asked him or Gordon.
If I want "intellectual" ,I'll go to Wikileaks.

  12. Going through in reverse chronological order here. Impersonal and detached is a terrible idea. Boring!

This is 10/10 for cheesy, but hope it gives you a smile!

  13. Good Lord, woman, do you really think we need another intellectual blog? Now, Horsey, on the other hand, is a need that's not being met by any other bloggers I'm acquainted with. So don't leave us high and dry...and Horseless, okay?
