Who's in London?

If you're in London this month ... or forever ... or maybe just until October next year ... you may want to go to the Vintage Furniture Flea.


It's on November 21st and being held in York Hall in London's Bethnall Green.

You should find affordable furniture and homewares from the 1950s to 1970s.

I wish I could go ... with lots of empty bags, and an empty car which has had its boot cleaned out so there was lots of space in the boot which would then need to be filled with various items from the 1950s to 1970s.

    Oh how I wish I could go! It looks so great... but of course I would need a van, or a truck... and a bigger house... and a fatter wallet. But what a wonderful day it would be.

    Oo-er MMMC - thanks for this tip. I've been a bit poorly and out of the loop lately, and somehow missed this. I shall try and visit and take my camera - and orders. Extra special discount rates can be negotiated if you send Martha over to collect.

    Wendy, caravanning is a great idea. You'd better be in the first vehicle because my navigation skills are lacking.

    KLT, wouldn't it be fun if, somehow miraculously, we could all go at once? It would be quite the bizarre bazaar.

    I hope you're feeling better and can go and wave the flag for us! Martha sends her best and she's packing extra nappies as I type. She says their cushioning may be needed if she buys heaps of Scandinavian ceramics.

    Ha! Ha! Lilli you make me laugh ... you dropping the Australian lingo! And you're right, we would need more than one ute! We'd need a truckload of utes! And a small army to assist. With trolleys.

    Right, looks like it's a convoy of utes to Bethnall Green in about two weeks then.

    We can watch Deb and Ms EM battle it out over (presently) snotty-nosed Martha!
