Well, about three minutes after that Somewhere Along a Winding Path mentioned that another blog (it's endless, really) is running a "Perfect Picture Books by Post" swap!

But basically, you purchase a lovely children's book which you think someone else in the world will enjoy, contact Playing By The Book at the email she provides, and she'll link you with someone else who'll send you a book in return!
I'm taking part! Why not? I think it's a fabulous idea to receive a gorgeous picture book from another country ... you don't even have to have a blog to participate ... go on Readers! I'd love to know if you think you'll join in.

Thanks for this lovely bit of spreading the word about the swap! I did a postcard swap earlier in the year and after that I think anything will be much easier - that involved everyone having 5 different swap partners from 5 different countries, so just having to pair up one person with one person from another country seems (so far!) quite straightforward :-) - So definitely, the more the merrier when it comes to joining in!
