1968 Australian home. Some Ruska. Teak furniture. Native Australian gardens. Splashes of Marimekko. Rimini blue Bitossi. 50s, 60s and 70s homes. House plants and succulents. Woody Allen. The occasional appearance by some Solid Gold Dancers. That's what you'll find here. And lashings of chutzpah thrown-in for good measure. Pull up a Suekichi Uchida and make yourself at home.

What do I do!? What do I do?
This is an exciting day!
Lookey here .... Click here ... I can't even tyoe I'm so excited!
I wonder if she knows I'm in Australia.
Time to hug some enamelware. This is how much I enjoy CatherineHolm.
I just came across your blog through, I'm not sure now as I'm so happy I found it! You can "make mine mid-century" as well. Now, you are so lucky - what fab enamel ware!
Holy guacamole coloured enamelware, MMMC! You must be beside yourself! Will you actually cook with them or will they find a space with the orange and blue Bittossi brigade. Perhaps you could ask Gordon's advice. We haven't seen him in a while and I am feeling the need for some of his profound Philosophie de Plastique.
don't go inspiring me to go out-and-about in Brisbane and do some kooky caper with Gordon ... dammit I've already got a dumb idea.
As for the enamelware ... I think they can sleep on the right-side of the bed and the Husband can sleep with Noodle (who's now feeling the chill since his wool was shorn).
Yours in trying to do some serious academic writing,
Wow! Lucky girl. I hope you get your prize post haste.
ReplyDeleteWow!
ReplyDeleteThat's so exciting.
Do you now what it looks like?
You're a Winner so can now go into Child 1's room!
Fabulous fabulous .... Who needs St Vinnie's.
ReplyDeleteIt could not have found a more perfect home.
They are so beautiful.
ReplyDeleteToo exciting for words.
You're becoming famous!
Congrats again Triple MC of Australia.
hope you're remembering to breathe! so exciting...
ReplyDeleteSorry, Readers.
ReplyDeleteI sort of lost-it a bit this morning, at the computer in my robe.
I threw Cocopops in the general direction of the children and what they didn't catch in their mouths, they had to scrounge from the floor.
But it is a touch of excitement in an otherwise (I know you don't believe me!) ho-hum life.
Oh well done! They're going to a well-deserved home.

ReplyDeleteAnd I thought Child 4 was the brains of this operation ...
You're right. I need a free bed for each piece.
