The Riot Act
This is the Husband reading The Riot Act to the 4xChilds.
The Husband is telling the 4xChilds that he'll be away all weekend in The Land of Grandad, helping Grandad throw away rubbish that Grandad really doesn't want to throw away.
As a result of his absence, the Husband is informing the 4xChilds that they are to be on their best behaviour - as per The Riot Act.
And Mummy has decided that The Riot Act contains a privative clause which states that any decisions made under said Act are NOT judicially reviewable.

Loving Child 2's protective arm around Child 4 (or is he pushing her forward). Also Child 1 - are her arms folded insolently in front?
ReplyDeleteYour prolific entries are hard to keep up with and if I hadn't experienced the joys of 'studying' Admin I would say "Where do you find the time?".
Reader 3,
ReplyDeleteChild 1 is definitely being insolent!
And if my Admin Notes aren't telling me ... "Return to the computer. You know you want to ...";
they're saying ... "Shut your eyes, just for a minute ..."
Very impressed that they are all actually looking at him while they are educated about "The Riot Act". Hope they remembered some of it and you've all managed while dad was away!
